8 Ways to Get Pampered & Pretty at Home

It can be a challenge to not get so caught up with our day to day lives that we don't have time for ourselves. I find myself busy taking care of work, bills, family, and so on. I forget to have some time to take care of myself, especially when I'm on a budget. What I've been doing is taking out a day or
night to pamper myself at home, or I try to do find ways to do little things for myself throughout the week. Sometimes we need to put all our task on hold and take a short break, make some "me time" to re-enerergize and collect ourselves so we don't get burned out.

Massage your head: I like to start off with give myself a relaxing scalp massage with some oil. Not only will this help me to slow down and feel relaxed, but also helps with blood circulation. I massage my head for about 15 minutes.

Oil your hair: I like to apply oil to my hair to deep condition and keep it nourished. Oiling my hair is one of my favorite ways to keep my hair healthy.

Take a bath: Fill the tub with warm water and a few drops of an essential oil to help your relax. Another option is to add some milk and flower petals, or stock up on some Lush Bath Bombs. You'll love it!

Foot massage/scrub: I like to soak my feet and then use a scrub to soften them up. Afterwards, I give myself a massage and finish by applying coconut oil mixed with lavender essential oil. Then put on some cozy socks and go to bed, in the morning your feet will be soft and pretty.

Facial: During the week I usually use a face scrub since it's quick. During my "me" time, I wash my face with warm water warm wet towel. Then I use a deep cleansing mask, I've been loving the Aztec Secret Healing Clay mask lately.

Mani/Pedi: Give yourself a manicure and pedicure. Cut, clean, file, and paint your nails a color that you love. It may seem silly, but having nice nails actually makes a difference in the way you feel.

Light a candle: There's just something about lighting candles. The fragrance and dim lighting easily shifts the mood and makes you feels good.

Oil diffuser: Another great way to help you relax is to diffuse essential oils. EO's have many health benefits, so you feel good inside and out.
